Abstract An account of Rolls' flight with Wilbur at Le Mans, France, October 8, 1908. Rolls, piloting a French-built Wright aeroplane, was killed in a crash at the Bournemouth Air Meet, in England, July 12, 1910, the first English pilot to die in an aircraft accident.
