The propellers for the airplane, known as the Wright 'bent-end'propellers, were used on all their aircraft from 1905 onwards. A highlyeffective design, this propeller has been tested in a wind tunnel at 81%efficiency. The Wrights consistently used long-bladed, slow-turningpropellers on all their powered machines.
