The rudder is controled by a handle at the top of the center control lever. Although the rudder is connected to the wing warping mechanism, the pilot can make further adjustments to yaw control by moving the handle to the left or right. The handle is connected to a bell crank at the bottom of the handle, which pulls the cables attached to the rudder attached to the booms at the rear of the aircraft.
